Park Trails

Pedestrian Trails

Wabash Parks Department maintains approximately 2.5 miles of pedestrian trail. The paved, handicap accessible trails are suitable for walking, running, skating, and bicycling. Horses and motorized vehicles are strictly prohibited.  


Wabash Cultural Trail (distance: 1.47 miles)

  • Points of interest include Honeywell Center, Dr. James Ford Historic Home, Wabash City Hall and County Courthouse, the Historical Museum, Wabash Bridge Underpass, Elks' Overlook Deck and the Sycamore Tree.

S. Carroll Street Trail (distance: 0.33 miles)

  • Points of interest include Wabash R.V. Park, John Drook Bike and Skate Park, Friendship Hill Inclusive Park and the Fitness Pad.

Paradise Spring Riverwalk Trail (distance: 0.82 miles)

  • A closed loop trail located at Paradise Spring Historical Park

Wabash Riverwalk Trail (distance: 0.75 miles)

  • From S. Huntington Street to just past the intersection of Smith and Carroll streets

Charley Creek Trail and Gardens - (0.62 miles and 0.43 miles for Gardens)

  • Runs between O.J. Neighbors Elementary School and the Morrett Sports Complex. Points of interest include Creek Overlook Deck, Honeywell House, Wabash High School and OJ Neighbours Elementary.
